Jordie Handmade was born in 2020 when retirement was approaching the former promotional products expert. With her self training, she has produced a collection of essential bags and accessories that work for everyday life. Her product is created by hand, one at a time, with only sustainable fabrics that reflect timeless fashion. Canvas, cork, hair on hide and full grain leather are her categories featured for her website debut.

Ethically Sourced Materials
Sustainable hide is leather that is a by product of local and international farming and agriculture industries. It is considered sustainable because the animals are not raised for the express purpose of using their leather for goods, they are primarily farm animals.
I source my hides from local and international providers who treat their animals with care and respect. Since we use ethically sourced leather from food animals, our sourcing has minimal environmental impact on agriculture and processes. And because my products are hand-made, our processes are likewise low impact and sustainable. Another term for our sustainable leather is “ethical leather ” – ethics form the backbone of our business and have led to Jordie Handmade success.
